Digital Gameworks presents its latest mini turn-based strategy game, DEFCON-2: The Missiles of October OR: Grab a Scotch, Fire Up a Smoke... And Check Your Bomb Shelter! This game invites players to step back into the tense atmosphere of the Fall of 1962, offering a satirical exploration of OPLAN-312 and its historical significance during the Cuban Missile Crisis, a period when the threat of World War III loomed large.

In DEFCON-2, players assume command of an OPLAN-312 Strike Package, engaging in a strategic race against time to identify and neutralize Soviet Nuclear MRBMs before they can be launched against the US Eastern Seaboard. The game challenges players to employ tactics such as jamming radar installations to diminish SAM effectiveness, destroying airfields to mitigate MIG patrol activities, and setting optimal reconnaissance and air-to-ground mission altitudes to evade anti-aircraft fire. Additionally, players must locate and destroy tactical nuclear Luna Surface-to-Surface Missiles aimed at the US Base in Guantanamo.
